Welcome to New Covenant Christian School and the 2009-2010 school year! My name is Carol Posthuma and I am looking forward to a wonderful year with your precious children. I believe that children are a gift from God and scripture tells us in Psalm 139 that each child is, "...fearfully and wonderfully made." With that in mind, it is my honor and privilege to have you share your children with me on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in our K-4 and K-5 program. It is my desire to build into their lives and help each child realize their god-given potential physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and spiritually. I am passionate about discipling children and helping them discover their worth and value is in Christ alone for through Him all things are possible!
In addition, I look forward to getting to know you and your family throughout the upcoming school year. One avenue that all teachers will be using to connect with parents and keep them informed is our website. Each week I will post our K-4/K-5 Newsletter as well as pictures from time to time. I invite you to check out our website weekly for the latest news. For more detailed information about our curriculum and class schedule, please select from the appropriate tab above. Also, please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns that you might have: philpost@comcast.net. Open communication is extremely important so please don’t hesitate to contact me!
In closing, along with the rest of the teachers at New Covenant Christian School, I am excited and optimistic about the school year God has set before us. I am blessed to be a part of a teaching team that is passionate about the Lord and united in their desire to serve and teach your children. As a community of believers I pray we will all put into practice our
New Covenant scripture verse for the year, which is Romans 12:9-10, “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” It is evident that God is doing a great work at New Covenant Christian School and I look forward to His leading in the lives of both students and staff as the school year unfolds.
Blessings to you and your family,
Carol Posthuma
